Song History
The band first played this Al Green song live on 6.30.00 with the Rev. Green himself. They played it twice that night because it was filmed for an IMAX live concert documentary, and the extra performance gave the editors more to work with. Dave has been interpolating the refrain from the Talking Heads cover of the song during the "Pretty Pretty Girl" section of Recently for years, but the band didn't play the whole song again until 7.3.15, with the Lovely Ladies on backing vocals.
