Dave in Roanoke Times

acox@s850.mwc.edu Sun Mar 5 21:59:48 1995

I don't know how many of you are in the Southwestern VA area, but DMB was
featured in the Extra section of the paper (Roanoke Times & World News)
on Sunday. The writing in the article is really good, it gives a whole
account of the band, its origins, etc., but what makes the article are
the huge pictures of the band during the V-day performances.

Try to get a copy of it if you have access to it, if anyone is really
interested I guess that I can post it, but it is really long...

got a problem

curws1@uxa.ecn.bgu.edu Sun Mar 5 22:43:40 1995

Somehow I have been disconnected from the minarets. As of March 3 there
has been nothing in my mail from minarets. I haven't got a clue as of
what happened.... whether I was unsubscribed or if the whole thing went
under (which shamefully I could see happening from all the negative shit
lately). Well sorry for wasting space with my personal problem but I
would appreciate it if someone could let me know if they can relate to
this. I really got a kick out of reading the stuff and Dave's music has
really been something else to me.... so I feel I am missing out without
being on minarets.

Thanks

Well,
I just finished the largest trade of my life.... Shit 27 tapes...

feels good.

So,
I will send my new list to anyone who is interested in a serious trade (10
shows or more). Sorry, for the newbies, but i am trying to get a bunch
fast.
Give me a couple of days to finish completing it-

Anyway, the guy that i traded with said that i had a lot of stuff that he
has never seen (i think he had about 90 shows or so it looked like) - so it
might be worth your time oldbies to check it out.

to the list.

I cant remember how to get the FAQ's , Chord Files, Lyric Files, Etc.

By the way oldbies, ever heard of "route 2" - he probably played it once or
twice- it is on one of these tapes i got, and i really like it- it's a
good song.

Peace,

Re: Where to go in Dallas, TX

sm436592@oak.cats.ohiou.edu Mon Mar 6 00:35:32 1995

Jason--
Dallas is such a great city. My best friend goes to school there. When I went
down to visit we did so much--some of the cooler places to go are--in downtown
Dallas there is an area with bars and stuff I forget what it is called but
theres this alley that is all neon that leads to it and there is an outside
stage set up so check to see if any bands are playing there. Gator's is
there--it is a way cool bar, famous for there frozen drinks--the Lethal Weapon
is really good. There are cool places in Fort Worth, too--if you want to try
alligator, Razoo's is a great cajun restaurant it is in downtown FT. Worth.
Anywhere is cool at night--the lights are so cool. If your into the history
thing--you can go to the book dipository and see the grassy knoll--anyway hope
this helps, I'm jealous I would love to be going--I'm stuck at school taking
finals!!! Have fun!!-Sarah.

House of Blues TV show?....

BLIM@CMCVAX.MCKENNA.EDU Mon Mar 6 09:19:29 1995

Excuse me if this is a stupid question or an old topic already covered but I
was reading the Feb 9 issue of Rolling Stone and I saw an add for a House of
Blues TV show on TBS and it said that DMB and Blues Traveler would be some of
several bands to play on this new series. I was wondering if these shows have
already been on or if anybody knew when they would be. And, is this the House
newsletter that they were having a contest where you could win some DMB stuff
and two tickets to their concert in late April. It was pretty cheesy and it
went along with this feature article all on the success of DMB. But does
anybody know about this concert coming up in late April in the L.A. area?
If anyone has any information on these subjects, please email me. Thanks.

Clvnd show, and meeting band.

FORTINJS@UCBEH.SAN.UC.EDU Mon Mar 6 19:18:21 1995

Hey all,

THE FLOOR BACK LEFT SECTION, PLEASE SEND ME IT. I FRICKEN LOST IT. HELP!!!!
IF YOU DO HAVE IT I WILL REPAY YOU MANY TIMES MORE. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think i'm still in shock from the show on Saturday, god it was incredible.

Before i tell my little story, I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY POSTS SINCE I SUBSCRIBED
TO THE AWARE NET CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I CAN BE ON TWO NETS AT ONCE OR IS THEIR
ONLY A LIMIT OF ONE? HELP ME I FEEL LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.K. Back to the show. I'll go chronilogically. Got up at 9 am hung over and
drove to pick my sister up, and to go to cleveland. It was to be my sisters
first show and we didn't want to be late. Arrived in Cleveland about 4.
Walked in the stage door and was told to go to the stage. When i walked in the
theater guess who was on the stage doing their sound check. Well obviously iw
was DMB. I walked up on stage, which i have to say felt awkward but i got used
to it as the night went on. Dave just finished and was hobiling around as if
his leg was hurt and was joking to Carter. Dave was saying god i'm getting
old. So i asked him seriously hold old he actually was since i do not know and
he said 300. I let him hobble around some more while i went to work. Yea i
had to work, that is how i got back stage passes. The job entailed signing
people up for BHTM mailing list. So if you were their and you say a tall
bllonde guy with a clipboard, or on the stage that was me.
seemed detached but happy. Carter was super nice and we chilled for about
twenty minutes listening to Ugly Americans warm up. The man KNOWS MUSIC. When
Ugly Americans went on i went back stage and hung out with Dave and a friend of
his for about an hour. If you have ever gotten an autograph from Dave you know
how he loves to draw, and that was what he did for almost the whole time. He
just sat there intensely into his drawing without a care to what was going on
around him. We talked about small bands Everything and LIR. About the set
lists(he said that the list was mostly off of UTTAD because management wants to
promote the album. And every member agreed that Dave choose the music for each
show.
I GAVE AWAY HALF A PACK OF CAMEL LIGHTS TO CARTER, DAVE AND THE UGLY AMERICANS
even know the order of the rest of them. To do that he said he would have to
check the copyrights. That would take a while, so good luck to anyone who
wants to fugure them out. Dave was also telling me about the new album they are going to do, and
he wants to do a double disc that is live. That sounds awesome!! He also said
that it would probably be all new songs for the most part. I asked for him to
put Drive In, Drive Out on it, and he said he was thinking about it, honestly.
So much say, but i'll end with this. The band is a great group of guys and i
hope every one of you gets to meet them. They are definately having a blast
and are NOT being changed by touring nationally, they are maturing.

AND IF YOU WONDERED IF THE BAND EVER READ THE NET, THEY DONT. DAVE WAS THE ONLY
ONE WHO KNEW ABOUT IT REALLY.
Seek Up
So Much To Say
Satellite
(from here on i am not sure on the order so check some one elses post)
Rhyme and Reason
You Pay for what you get
WWYS
Dancing Nancies(by far the best song of the night, Boyd went nuts!!!)
Jimi Thing(personal favorite)
closed with
Granny(shocked me when they started, it was great but not many knew it)
encore Ants

Perhaps the only let down of the show was when i talked to Todd Park Mohr.
After their sound check, i asked him if he was going to play In The Morning.
The song gets to me, for some reason. And all he said was, "No I hate that
song." Shocked i said well what is your favorite song and he said, "Anyone but
that song." And then he walked away. I do not know if he was upset at the
fact that they were not closing and i was wearing a DMB hat, or if he is just
that blunt. Regardless of what he said, I do not think BHT is that good live.
I still love their cd's, ,but they are missing something.

more before the show, and he said they dont because they have to be clear for
the performance . So my dream of partaking with the band will never happen? Oh
well. If you read this far i thank you IT MEANS A LOT, and if your going to
be in Columbus i will see you there. Who knows i may be able to get back stage
thursday again.

IT STILL AMAZES ME HOW BEAUTIFUL THE BAND MEMBERS AND THEIR MUSIC ACTUALLY IS.

Also, for all the dubbing masters out there, in a moment of weakness, I

one of the 2 decks to turn just a little faster than the other while
dubbing?? One deck always finishes before the other, even when I use
identical
tapes. It is kind of annoying, especially when I want to record both sides
automatically. Can anyone help?? Unless you think others will benefit
from you response, please mail me personally!! No need to clutter the

Cleveland paper cuts down DMB

staunton.2@postbox.acs.ohio-state.edu Tue Mar 7 02:17:26 1995

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is a good paper, except when it comes to music
reviews the DMB review was no exception. Michael Norman is a pathetic
journalist and an even worse music critic. (Some Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame city!) Here is a copy of the article that appeared today, 3/6/95.

"Va. band fails to dig deep for meaningful, distinct jams"
-by Michael Norman
Saturday night at the music hall reminded me of an old Grateful Dead joke a
friend of mine once told.
is no other way to explain the adoration the young crowd heaped on South

Cleveland paper cuts down DMB

tracys@umich.edu Tue Mar 7 03:03:48 1995

---------- Forwarded message ----------

TRACY THIS IS THE ARTICLE I WOULD LIKE YOU TO POST (SEE RARE DAVE TREE?)

African expatriate Dave Matthews and his crew from Charlottsville, Va.

A Dave Story

sundtde@iac.net Tue Mar 7 03:39:16 1995

Wow slow day on minarets, I haven't gotten anything which is quite strange
for this net that is rumored to have what, 800 members(???). Anyway here
is my story.....
I go to school at Miami University which is in Oxford, OH. Last Tuesday
Dave and the boys did an interview at 97X which is the top
college/alternative station for the Cincy/Dayton area of Ohio.(Did anybody
hear this or tape it, I didn't I was wondering if they played anything,
anyway...) So today I went into Bagel and Deli today which is a small
sandwich shop that makes up speciality steamed bagels and they all have
differnt names. Well I was figuring out what I was going to order and I
saw a new bagel named the DAVE MATTHEWS BAGEL. I said what the heck is
this. What I guess what happened was after the interview the guys where
hungry and the people at the radio station recommended that they go to
Bagel and Deli. So the entire band went over to Bagel and Deli and got
bagels. Dave got a bagel called the Italian Bagel. I guess the band hung
out for a while and signed a picture(Dave signed it "The Best Sandwich in
Town"). After this event the store decided to rename the Italian Bagel the
Dave Matthews Bagel. Nobody remembered what Leroi, Stefan, Carter or Boyd
got.(In course your wondering what was in a DM bagel it is, salami, ham,
pepperoni, provolone, bananna peppers, onions and pizza sauce) Well that's
about it, if your ever in Oxford stop at Bagel and Deli, have a Dave bagel
and check out the picture...

P.S. Anybody interested in trading for a crispy, 11/10/93 boot(The R2T
release party) I have managed to pick up an extra copy, so all interested
please e-mail me personally. Peace...

To whomever asked about "Kristen"-
"Kristen" is probably Kristen Asbury (sp?). Great singer who has been known to
sing with the band every so often. I don't think she was every actually a
member of the band. She is now playing percussion for Shannon Worrell, and
singing back-up. They are calling themselves the Big Muff. There is also a
bassist, but I can't think of her name right now. Saw them play in Jan. at
Crossroads (Trax). Everyone should check out Shannon and her band. They are
amazing. Dave sings back-up on a couple songs on Shannon's cd named "Three
Wishes." Buy It. It is well worth the money. Later............tom

topic:music since loss of piano

Hello Minarets,
or worse band since the loss/departure of their piano/keyboard player? Dave said
that they were all still friends and now he tends bar somewhere in VA. But has
the music suffered b/c of this. I would especially like to hear what some of
"the elders" think. Personally, I think the piano adds another dimension to the
band, much as the addition of a certain jolly harmonica player does when he
ocassions the band with his presence. On the other hand it may be better to have
a smaller band. What Would You Say? (sorry I couldn't resist.

The Virginia Boogie Blitz (Sept 21-Oct 1)

Do not pack your bags yet; NO DATES are yet confirmed, but here's
an intro, a request, and a few details about the bands...

Ellis ("of Lemuria") Godard, in conjunction with a series of
management and promotion firms, is in the planning stages of a
project to present three separate but simultaneous tours of
Virginia this fall by out-of-state bands. The coinciding events
would take place in late September, from Thursday the 21st
through Sunday, October 1. At this stage of planning, bids are
being sought and considered primarily for fraternity and other
private functions, and primarily for the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd
(first Thursday-Sat), although all ten days remain open at the
time of this posting.

If you know of Virginia locations eager for fresh out-of-state
tunes, please contact Ellis at home or via email. If you are
calling to represent or suggest a fraternity location or other
private event, please phone (not email) as soon as possible; some
bids for these events are already being considered, and the short
schedule may fill quickly. Suggestions and offers in Maryland,
West Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina will be considered
for days immediately surrounding the 9/21 to 10/1 stretch.

being democratic about the offer to get these bands, and making a
wider appeal to get in on this project.

The bands (alphabetically) ..

* Day by the River *, formerly of Miami, now of Athens,

* yeP! *, from Amherst, MA, combining a driving funk

* Jambay *, from San Francisco, CA, progressive, eclectic,

If you haven't heard of these on the net, keep your ear out;
trees have happened or will happen for each, and at some point,
I'll run a single tree of all three.

If you live in Virginia and really want to see any of these,
please help circulate that these are great acts, that bids are
now being accepted for consideration, that some offers have been
made, and that I'm the contact.

Muchos danke.

don't presume anything...

I play guitar...and I have for a long time...I play all of dave's
tunes (that I can figure out and play effectively on guitar)...I do
listen to daves lyrics...I sing them....I know them, I love them...I
heard dave a few weeks ago...it was beautiful....I may not be from
virginia...I may not have been to the flood whatever...but that doesnt
mean I like them because they are catchy...allthough they are. you cant
get mad at people who think this....that's all they know...and what
exactly is catchy music? isn't music that speaks to you? that moves you?
that makes you happy, sad...that makes you laugh and cry....?

Re: help w/ tree

molly@ctg1.com Tue Mar 7 14:28:35 1995

Whyncha talk to the guy who was running the V-Day tree that just got killed?
Maybe he'd even administer it. About 225 people on the tree, etc.

Fellow Minaretters,
Unfortunately I have to make the announcement that the Valentine's
Day tree is dead. I will explain, but first let me apoligize. I'm sure
many of you on the tree have already sent out tapes or arranged trades.
I would hope that in the friendly spirit of DMB that all you parents out
there would try and work out a solution with your children.
I'm sure everyone wants to know why. Well, I recently was told by a
very reliable person close to the band that the existance of the V-Day
tape has caused DMB many headaches. The contract that they signed with
the RSO stipulated two things. First, that the RSO owned 100% of the
performed material. DMB was essentially just guests on the stage with
the RSO. The second clause in the contract holds DMB resposible for
any/all taping infractions. The RSO was very worried about the
possiblilty of taping, especially due to DMB's normal policy. DMB in
order to quell these fears took sole resposibility. In other words,
they trusted us. The reprecussions of this have spread doubt on the
future of taping at all DMB shows. Please understand that we must give
up this tree in order to ensure the future of taping and future trees.
Personally, I don't really want to do this but I feel that I must.
I created this tree in order to spread what was an amazing experience.
I solicited any advice form the net and heard mostly positive responses.
It wasn't until just recently that I've been informed of the problems
that this tree will pose for DMB. I created this tree to help them, to
spread the music and good feelings. It has turned out that this tree
will only do the opposite and that is why I have to kill it. I have
given my word that I would not let this tape be distributed. I know
that there are 225 people out there who are none too happy with this. I
just ask that you all understand. Feel free to write to me with
comments/questions/flames. Again, I'm sorry.

- Bill

P.S. - To all my children on the tree, just hang in there. I will be
getting in touch with you soon to work something out.

Just an idea (and not just because I was on the tree).

Re: ** BAD NEWS- V-Day Tree

morgan_dailey@spacemail.jhuapl.edu Tue Mar 7 14:40:55 1995

I'm sure everyone wants to know why. Well, I recently was told by a
very reliable person close to the band that the existance of the V-Day
tape has caused DMB many headaches.

Just wonderng who the very reliable person is?

When we spoke to Carter after the 2-15 show, Dominic
asked him if there would be tapes. He said he was sure
there would be, but they would take time for them to get
out. This is not an exact transcript of the conversation
by any means, but it lead me to believe that getting a
copy of the show was ok. Perhaps Carter didn't know the
exact legal bindings that were in place.

Ok, how 'bout a solution. The DMB w RSO shows were
a fund raiser for the RSO. (In the hall way I heard some
woman speak to another "This is the best fund raiser
we've ever had.") So what if everyone on the tree who
gets a copy of the show dontes a buck or two bucks or
whatever to the RSO. That would easily add up to a
couple a hundred bucks. Anyone know anyone in the
RSO organization? I suppose if there was a CD of the
show issued, then all of the above is pointless
discussion.

Imbecilic is having the quality or pertaining to the state of being an
imbecile. Which is another way to say stoopid.
Do what you want. Or don't. It makes no difference to me.

Welcome to Florida, Mr. Matthews!

The miracle has occured!

Dave & Co., as well as Mr. Big Head (Rocko's Modern Life reference for
Nicktoon fans) are playing at the Sunrise Musical Theatre on April 11th.
It's about half sold out. Anyone else attending?

Also, I was mail-less as of yesterday. I think our link was down
in honor of that nasty, annual Michelangelo virus which always occurs
on my birthday.

Hope Katharine is still out there.

Only one month til the show,

Re: A Dave Story

aperlmut@emerald.tufts.edu Tue Mar 7 15:58:31 1995

nhey if u wanna give me the extra copy i'de be more than willing to
accept it a nnd trade u sometihng in return. thankx-amyOn Mon, 6 Mar 1995,

                                                                         Dan

 P.S. Anybody interested in trading for a crispy, 11/10/93 boot(The R2T
release party) I have managed to pick up an extra copy, so all interested
 please e-mail me personally. Peace...

Clevland correction

FORTINJS@UCBEH.SAN.UC.EDU Tue Mar 7 16:40:00 1995

Let me first say sorry to the net,

If you read it thanks, and heres the correction. DMB second to last song was,
#36 not Granny. I do not know what i was thnking when i sent the post, a
little to much Jimi Thing i think. I can not tell you how bad i felt when i
realized my mistake, and it bothered me all day till i could repost. Sorry
once again, and hope you enjoyed a little DMB fact filled post i sent.

HERES A NEW FACT. DONT BE SURPRISED ONE BIT IF DAVE CLOSES EVERY SHOW FROM NOW
ON WITH ANTS. HE SAID THE CROWD WENT NUTS OVER, AND HE'S RIGHT, I JUST HOPE HE
DOESN'T DO IT AT EVERY SHOW.

ANOTHER SAD FACT ABOUT A LETTER I READ EARLIER. YOU ARE ENTIRELT RIGHT IN
ABOUT HEARING THE MUSIC AND THAT DMB IS A PHASE FOR SOME, BUT THE BAND WILL
PROBABLY NOT READ THE MESSAGE(ALTHOUGH I WISH THEY WOULD) THEY HARDLY KNEW WHAT
THE NET WAS, EXCEPT DAVE.

Hey all,

listened to your DAVMALTATIONS tape if you got it. I know i have a bunch, and
would like to thank Chaz once again for doing that. Much thanks. I was
listening to the tape and realized that it wass almost a documantary on Dave.
Since i will see Dave and the boys in Columbus on thursday, i was wondering if
i should give him a copy? I thinks it would be a trip for him to hear all of
the old stuff, and also jog his memory about the past and how far they have
come. Even though i do not ever think he will forget that. Please post to me
directly, and be honest. Since it came from Chaz and the net it should be
there decision. CHAZ PLEASE POST ME PERSONALLY. Hurry, i have tests and
there are only two days till the show.

****READ THIS- I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY:)*****

BL185019@GREEN1A.WCU.wcupa.edu Tue Mar 7 19:05:56 1995

hey girl
brian from west chester you had a lot of things to get off your mind
i dont read my mail that often but please write to me
bleffler@wcupa.edu

Hey out there everyone- I was going to post yesterday, but my system
crashed. If anyone remembers, I was the sad road warrior who posted her
dismay after the horrible Boston show... anyway, I have recently returned
from the most incredible DMB road trip in a long time. I was lucky
and I got hoooked up for guest list tix to the Lafayette shows, along
with being able to have a long ass chat with all of the members of the
band(except Carter, who was really sick)
SO!!! Here is me saying my peace, clearing up rumors, etc....

FIRST OFF-in case you didn't know ...THE BAND HATES HATES HATES CROWD
SURFING!! THIS WAS EXPRESSED TO ME BY ALL OF THE GUYS. Stefan and LeRoi
were very worried about the innocent people who justed wanted to watch
the show who were getting crushed. AND, as for those of you who were
wondering why if Dave hates crowd sufers so much, why doesn't he say
GET THE FUCK DOWN, well - all I can say is, have you ever thought that
Dave is too nice and peaceful of a person to insult anyone like that??
When Dave says, "Hey y'all chill on the crowd surfing, the little people
are getting crushed, that's his way of saying politely, "get the fuck
down" So, if you are waiting for him to say it, you need to realioze that
it's not happening anytime soon.

SECONDLY- for those of you who haven't realized it yet, the crowds won't
be getting any better with time. Instead of wasting everyone's time
bitching about this and that, make a short comentary about the crowd(1
sentence if that) and be done with it. I think there are a lot of people
out there(myself included, no doubt) that need to realize that the way to
enjoying a show is to either make the best out of the crowd that's around
you, or go back far where there's space to chill.

I asked him, and he laughed and said- "only in spirit"
AND FURTHERMORE- Stefan is not lame at all- he is a very animated person,
who talk a lot and is really funny when you get to know him. He was
really excited about having hosted Alternative Nation. Stefan is like a
big kid- he's lost in a world that's moving way fast. He has a life, as
do all of them, and he is shy when he 's never seen you-WHO WOULDN"T BE?
It's kinda overwhelming.

touring until September...but when I asked Dave he said that he wouldn't
mind a long-ass holiday. I asked LeRoi about Lollapalooza and he hadn't
heard anything about it- he said they'd consider it, but wouldn't do it
if the bands wern't good.

know, I guess people just kept requesting it." SO... keep those requests
request for The Maker, to which Boyd smiled and said, "Another day..."

I can't think of anything else right now...
except, the reason that the band looked nervous on Letterman is because
they were scared shitless!! Many people forget that they are just regular
people who have been thrust into stardom. I can verify this...from
LeRoi's confession to being scared on Letterman to the way Stefan's eyes
lit up when I asked him about alternative nation to Dave's confession
that he had been seeing a lot of flashes lately. The band hasn't changed
as people- the are just trying to sdjust to what they are having to deal
with being who they are. IS THAT ANY DIFFERENT FROM YOU OR ME ( besides
the fact that we aren't famous!!:)

to anyone who is still reading, good job

last but not least, I will say my peace.

people who insult them recall it, you were oce newbies too. I am not
ashamed to admit that Ants Marching was one of my faves as a
newbie(although True Reflections and Dancing Nancies(with no intro back
then) were my top songs). I freaked out two years ago when Ants was
played at the end of a show. I also admit that a few months ago, I
didn't know shit about taping, but because of a nice roomate and kind
people on the net, I was soon able to build my collection up to near 85
hours. Be cool to them- although I long for the days when I could just
walk up to the door at the Floodzone on a Wednesday night and pay $5 for
a three hour show, I realize that those times are gone. I love the band-
I think they are unique and talented and most of all that they are
wonderful people who deserve to have their amazing talent recognized.

LASTLY******************************************
To those of you who feel it necessary to insult each other, please do so
privately. I joined this net in October, and when I did, I found the
A) setlists- remember these- if someone doesn't do it from your show and
you know the list write it. It's quick and painles.
B) tourdates-a simple list of upcoming shows
C) **USEFUL** information about the band. This means things like I have
written, not STUPID RUMORS. In other words, back it up or back off. It
is irrelevant whether Dave is bisexual, Stefan is shy, Boyd is stupid, or
anything else. Call me crazy, but when someone says shit sbout
me(ESPECIALLY someone who has never met me), it doesn't make me too
happy. If you're wondering whether or not Stefan or Dave is gay and you
have the lack of tact to talk about it with 800 people on this net, then
you should also have the balls to take to Dave and Stefan themselves and
clear it up. If you knew them at all, you'd know that they are pretty
honest people who don't want people thinking the wrong things about
them. They are who they are, as are you, so stop saying this useless
shit that is untrue or none of anyone's business.
D) trade offer, newbies offers, or trees
E) Funny messages, with friendly personals to each other- NOt USELESS
INSULTS. Why watse so much time insulting someone you never know. When I
joined this net, it was full of people who loved the band, not people who
loved insulting each other. Most o these people have lost faith in what
was once an informative group with a MAX of 20-30 messages and aren't
around anymore.

offensive and useless shit to the band and to us.

band. People have different tastes- that's what life is about. Would
you want your friends who said "I hate Dave and co." to be with you at a
concert? Personally, I would rather be there with an appreciator(no
matter how new or old) like my best friend, whose I hand I held while I
was crying softly during an incredible Blue Water on Saturday.
tell them to be onsiderate of what you love and to respect your taste,
AS YOU SHOULD RESPECT THEIRS.

take a look at yourselves and think about how are you are considering(or
not considering) others.

For those of you who are waiting for tapes from me, they are done and
out.

me two blanks, but your show is only one. Do you want another show?

LAST-*********NEWBIE OFFER******
and postage.
IMPROVE THEIR DMB SONG KNOWLEDGE, write me and, of course there's a
catch, YOU MUST TELL ME A FUNNY STORY OR AN INCREDIBLY GOOD JOKE- IF
NEITHER OF THESE ARE INCLUDED, I WILL INGORE YOUR POSTS. I am not a
bitch, I am simply looking for something funny and amusing instead of
all these hurtful insults.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH- Im done!! Take care evryone, and
think before you insult.
Anyone want to make my day and trade for Friday and/or Saturday?
Post only when necessary.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I love Dave. I don't love getting 200
messages every two days. Go for it!

question on "I once had a girl"

Trey18@aol.com Tue Mar 7 21:11:35 1995

I've heard dave say "I once had a girl or should i say she once had me" a
million times but at the roseland show back in february during pay for what
you get he said something else after it. it sounded like he said "she showed
me her norweigean wine". does anyone know what he says there? Any help would
be greatly appreciated in fact i'll fill out some blanks for the person who
can help me out.

Where are you from? I would not mind getting a few of those
boots you have and it sounds like you are probably from the
Richmond area or maybe even Charlottesville(that would be nice
since I go to UVA). If you are somewhat local we could save
postage and all that hassle.
